This was the post I put on the blog that Mrs Gagg created for me when I retired so that I can keep in touch with all my old patients (in the immodest belief that, in their distress and bereavement, they might want to know what I’m doing).
Today we (Paula and I) are cozily nestled against each other on a Virgin train (with small seats) under blue skies on our way to Edinburgh. Yesterday we were wasted and hung over on the top of a double decker bus behind a rain pelted windscreen, on our way back from the 40 year anniversary bash of the 1970 graduates from Guy’s Hospital medical school, that was held in Oxford (and was really the focal point for this trip to England).

I have a desire to post some of the slightly less medical stuff I have been up to recently. In the past I have resisted putting everyday activities up, partly in a desire to maintain anonymity so that I can say scurrilous things about people and they won’t be able to identify who’s saying them.
But there is not really so much scuttlebutt that I want to put on my web site that I have to be so cautious. So at the risk of being slightly less anonymous, I am posting some of the stuff “Mrs. Gagg” and I have been doing - and hope that all you readers (are there any readers? Should I be making jokes like The Car Guys about their “two listners”) will find it of some interest.
